Of Buffalo, entered into rest July 18, 2025, age 96. Beloved wife of the late Juan Arturo for 62 years; devoted father of Juan (Nancy), Tamara (Gary), Ralph (Christine) and the late Mayda; cherished abuela (grandmother) of Demetrius (Jessica), Renee (Max), Mayda (Anders), Andrew (Shannon), John (Santana), Madelyn and Lianna; dear sister of Rafael (called Fellito), Jose Miguel, and Clara Digna (all deceased). She also leaves behind 7 great grandchildren and one on the way. Ramona immigrated to the United States from the Dominican Republic to make a better life for her family. She was a homemaker who valued her family above all else. Her pancakes and pastelitos were legendary and her wit and humor sharp. She loved to travel and had an innate curiosity and sense of wonder about the world. Ramona instilled a love of family, language and culture in her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by many and loved always. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the Hispanic Heritage Cultural Institute. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst on Friday (8/15) from 3:00-7:00pm. Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 345 Seventh St., on Saturday (8/16) at 10:00am, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Condolences may be made at lombardofuneralhome.com.
