Age 84. Beloved husband of 63 years to Marcia (nee Gesicki) Zientara; loving father of Lynn Marie (Anthony) Dombrowski and Jeffrey (Dawn Marie) Zientara; best Poppa to Josh, Jacob (fiancée Mariah), Joseph, Jillian (fiancé William) Dombrowski and Alex (Caitlin Amigone-Zientara) Zientara and the Murphy girls; dearest son of the late Alexander and Victoria Zientara; predeceased by sister Adele Jankowiak. Ray was a Fourth Degree Knight and was retired as the Executive Director of the Diosesan Holy Name Society. The family will be present on Wednesday from 3-8 PM at the Urban-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, 1024 French Rd. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday from St. Gabriel Church at 10:15 AM. Ray was active in the Buffalo Jaycees in the late '60's - early '70's. He was a good man - always willing to help with a community project. I was reminded, reading his obituary, that he was Adele's ('Lefty's') brother and that brought back more positive memories. RIP, Ray - you've earned it.

Ray was a great friend. Worked together since 2005 as Moderator, attended the National Conventions and promoted the Holy Name in Buffalo Diocese, Nation and Canada. Prayers and Masses for him and his family. Rest in peace, my good friend.
