Richard ARNONE Obituary

ARNONE - Richard R
October 30, 2022 after a brief illness age 86. He was a loyal and devoted husband of Donna (nee Forness); beloved brother of Kenneth (Elaine) and the late Michael (late Marilyn) Arnone; also survived by loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation Friday 3-7pm at the PACER FUNERAL HOME, INC. (2275 George Urban Blvd., Depew (2 blocks east of Dick Rd.). Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis Church, Main and Edward St., Buffalo Saturday 10am. Please Assemble at church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo Inc. Richard served in the US Army National Guard. As an avid outdoorsman, he had a lifelong love of hunting coupled with a deep respect for nature. As a landowner, his properties were all proof positive of his respect for the environment. Richard had a ceaseless curiosity. He was willing and able to adopt and adapt to new things. Richard enjoyed a challenge. In the early days of computers he was at the forefront of learning the technology and mastering the internet in its infancy. Richard never met a mechanical machine that he could not master. He was always current and kept abreast of the world around him. A renaissance man, Richard had a keen interest in fine art and antiques. He enjoyed attending auctions. Richard enjoyed card games and was an excellent poker player. He had a sharp mind and enjoyed the fellowship of his card playing community. He will be remembered for his love, kindness, fortitude, resilience, generosity and sense of humor.
