May 4, 1949 - Mar 23, 2025
Of Buffalo, NY, at age 75. Beloved husband of the late Frances (nee Rizzo) Bogdan; devoted step-father of Brett Hennessy and Shannon Hennessy; step-grandfather of the late Patrick Ryan Hennessy; dear brother of John "Dennis" (Gloria) Bogdan, Larry (Linda) Bogdan and Betty (Joseph) Ruicci; also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. There are no prior visitations. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Assumption Church, 435 Amherst St., Tuesday, April 1st, at 10 a.m. Please assemble at church at 9:30 a.m. to greet the family. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Rick was the owner/operator of Academy of Motorcycle Safety of WNY. Wow, was just thinking about you...its been a minute....thanks for teaching me to ride almost 30 yrs ago...and thanks for those tickets to met Jay Leno and be on set at NBC in Cali...working with you was a blast in Buffalo and at the Daytona Speedway...you used to drive me mad...and we always ended up laughing..its been a couple years...fly high brother...you´re free and in the care of our Heavenly Father...see you again....in that sweet bye and bye

Sad to see another great Tech man gone. Rick was quite a character and had a lot of character. Sad to have read of he having lost a grandchild before his passing. Take care bud...we'll have another Tech reunion in heaven.
