Richard DUTTON Obituary

DUTTON - Richard T.B.
Age 68, of Colden, NY. Entered into rest peacefully at UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie, PA, on Thursday, December 19, 2019, following an extended illness. Richard was born in the United Kingdom on April 9, 1951, son of the late Jesse and May (Byrom) Dutton. Richard was a graduate of the SUNY at Buffalo School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He was a mathematics lecturer at SUNY at Buffalo for 30 years prior to his retirement in 2015. Richard enjoyed slot car racing as well as building and flying kites. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Frank and Elizabeth Maslow. Survivors include his beloved wife of 31 years, Laurie A. (Maslow) Lindner Dutton; three children: Zachary Lindner (Angela), Seth Lindner (Claudia) and Thomas Rath (Edna); four brothers: John Dutton (Irene), Peter Dutton (Suzie), Robin Dutton (Judy) and Timothy Dutton (Linda) and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. No calling hours will be observed. A private memorial service will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be designated to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, 665 Elm St., Buffalo, NY 14203. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dusckas-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Erie, PA.
