I am so sorry for your loss. I have not spoken to Dutch in about a year. My late husband David had known Dutch almost all his life. I met Dutch back in 1975. He was our babbling brook, our friend, our comedian. Dick and Judy and David and I would sit around for hours with Dutch and tell old stories about when they used to work together and when they would go out to Sunset Bay. He will be missed. There is not another one like him, a one of a kind. God Bless Dutch and all who loved him. He will have a lot of friends waiting to help him.

It's amazing when I think back over all the years of good times we shared. Our families intertwined and the things we shared. Dutch working for Millard Surveying, he and Marge going on our official 'honeymoon' 3 months after we got married, the times we spent as young married families together and all we shared throughout the years. One thing stands out is Dutch's sense of humor, compassion and all he stood for. A father, husband, friend he was all of those rolled up in one and so much more. My father in law Roy looked at him as a son, my late husband Dick and late brother in law Dave looked at him as a brother. He was always there, and you just had the thought that he always would be. Life has taught me that the only cure for grief is grieving. So let it come, acknowledge it. Then let time do it's miracle. Dutch you will be sadly missed and will have joined a wonderful group of friends waiting to greet you on the other side. Safe passage my friend.
Always,
Judy Millard

Our deepest condolences from the Skop family to the Hartnett family. Dutch and my father, Max, were good friends and shared many good times in Florida. I was too young to recall the Elmsford Drive days, but I was reintroduced to Dutch last year in Florida. His high energy and lust for life was unforgettable. May your special memories help you through your grieving.
