Father Keppeler was my latin teacher at Notre Dame High School. After college I became a teacher at Notre Dame and Father Keppeler was my colleague and principal. I will always think of him as a great man and a good friend.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Fr. Keppeler. I learned of his death, too late to attend the funeral. Our whole family appreciated having him as pastor of St. Brigid's Church, in Bergen. During the holidays, we were just looking at a family video of my son's First Communion with Fr. Keppeler saying the mass. I mentioned that he would probably love to see it. He will live on in our hearts.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Father Keppeler's family and friends during this difficult time. We were very blessed to have worshiped in his presence and guidance. Our family has many wonderful memories that Father Keppeler was an integral part of.

Father Keppler will always be remembered by our family. He helped us through many difficult as well as happy times. We just spoke of him on Christmas eve when my now grown children said how much we missed his Christmas eve mass and the stories he always told here at St. Brigid in Bergen. Our deepest sympathy to the family.
