Rich...your smile will always comfort my heart, when needed. After 12 years, the legal system finally acknowledged your wrongful death. God bless your Dad for never giving up. You will be forever remembered by us as a great guy, gone way too soon, in a most wrongful way. Your smile will always remind me that there are good people in this world, despite the ugliness. Will forever miss you.

As a friend of Jamie I had the privilege of meeting Rich at family gatherings. He was friendly, easy to talk to and had a great grin. My heart goes out to his family and to Jamie.

There is no greater bond than that of a parent and their child, thus no greater loss if the child leaves before the parent. You were my first son, my namesake, and in many ways my twin. I will carry you with me forever, but will not be whole again until we're united. I love you kiddo.

You are all in our thoughts and prayers as you walk through this most difficult time in life. Rich's passing is much too early...we are still in shock and can't even imagine what you are all going through...his smile will always be a vision we will fondly recall.

Whatever the reason may be, know that Rich is with our creator now. Free from any pain he may have been dealing with. Rest in peace Rich. See you when I get there.

My heart is heavy today as I mourn the loss of a dear friend who was taking way too soon. I remember the day your mom and dad left for the hospital to have you. I remember babysitting you and those little blonde curls. I remember my trip when you lived in Massachusetts I was so excited to see you. You always had such a big smile on your face. You never had it easy from the time you were born you were a fighter. RIP kiddo you will be sorely missed. Keep on smiling.

and had a whole lot of fun.
But God has called you
home to his son.

Your tragic death
