Richard REIMERS Obituary
Of West Seneca, NY, August 10, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Lorain A. (nee Zarnikau); dearest father of Jacqueline (Nick) Reimers, David (Katie), Joseph (Eileen) and the late Eric (Faith) Reimers; loving grandfather of Jessica Reimers, Kari and Michael Workman, Rose, Mildred and George Reimers; brother of James Kavanaugh, Susan Kavanaugh and Kathy Harrigan and the late Virginia Hoelcle; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present Monday, 4-8 PM, at the HOY FUNERAL HOME, 3855 Seneca St., West Seneca, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Service Tuesday morning, at 10 AM, at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, 630 Main St., West Seneca, NY. So sorry to hear of Rich's passing . I first meet him when I took carving class in early "90" and he got me to start carving which I still do in Henderson NV. Also as member of EUCC we knew him .
It was just last week I was given a copy of "Chip Chats " one of many carving magazines and what did I find an article and picture of the class he gave on carving carousel horse which still sets on top of our TV . As I said he got me started and I enjoy it to this day ,THANK YOU RICH .
I can see him giving carving lessons to all those that have gone before us . i will always be great full for what he taught me , so sorry he is gone.
