My deepest sympathy to the Solecki family. Richard had a heart of gold, always there to help someone in need. He would go out of his way for friends and asked nothing in return. Richard liked to play jokes on people especially April Fool’s Day. I was fortunate to have Richard as a partner selling real estate for HUNT REAL ESTATE those were the good old days. It was Richard who encouraged me to join the Polish American Congress WNY Division. Richard was President and I was Vice President. We were able to bring dignitaries and Rita Cosby to Buffalo for our banquets. I shall cherish each and every memory. Goodbye my friend. You are my sunshine! Rest In Peace Richard. God Bless you! You will never be forgotten. You are now reunited with family and all your friends.

I worked with Dick at Markel Electric in the 70's and helped with his union activities in IBEW Local 41. We lost contact over the years and was sad to hear of his passing.

Richard was a good man and helped me as our first realtor to buy our first home in Orchard Park. He was a historian of Poland and World War 2 and will be truly missed. Say hello to dad for me up there Richard.
