Dear Colleen and all of the family,
I'm sorry to hear of your Dad's passing away. In the 60s, when you lived on E. Main street, I remember when the Mister Softee truck would come round...you'd all be out there with your change...I distinctly remember Dickie liked the Cherry Chillaroos, as his entire face was red upon finishing his treat. Please forgive my irreverence, as I know virtually no other way to pay respects.
Colleen miss you from the Pierce Avenue Era.

We just heard today of Dicks passing. He was a great friend and always so good to us. He will be missed greatly. I am sad we missed the services. Would have liked to pay our respects. Much love and prayers to his family.

I just yesterday heard the sad news of Dick's passing. Deepest condolences from our family to Dick's wonderful family. He was truly one of the good guys of this world. So long, Dick. It was a privilege to have known you.
