Of Cheektowaga, NY, age 93. Daughter of the late George and Lottie Brzyski. Loving wife of the late Edward F. Slawinski Jr. Devoted mother of James (Shirley) Slawinski Ph. D, Cynthia (Robert) Meyers MS, and Scott (Sally) Slawinski Ph.D. Proud Gram of Christen (Jeremy) Beck and Lauren (Brian) Rosintoski. Dearest Great-Gram Snoopy of Ava Rose Beck, Trevor and Zoey Rosintoski. Predeceased by her siblings: John (Mary) Brzyski, Pearl (John) Kubiak, Edward (Charlotte) Brzyski, Leo (Alice) Brzyski, Bernard (Angela) Brzyski, Edward (Edith) Brzyski, Chester Brzyski and Richard (Lorraine) Brzyski. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family. Rita's wish was to donate her body to UB's School of Medicine. If you wish, a donation to the SPCA would pay tribute to her love for animals. In lieu of a memorial service, "Keep her memory in your heart".
