Robert BOYCE Obituary
age 88, passed away early Wednesday morning (July 26, 2023), after a period of declining health. Bob, a native of Hamburg, NY, graduated from Hamburg High School. Upon completion of high school, he joined the Army and served in Korea, after which he was honorably discharged. He then continued his education at The University of Buffalo. His insurance career began when he joined the Travelers Insurance Company. After serval years he left to join an independent insurance agency in LeRoy NY, becoming an owner and president. Bob became very active in his new community, holding multiple community leadership positions. Bob was an avid Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan and was recently recognized by both as a 50-year Season Ticket Holder. Bob is survived his wife, Beth, 3 children Ann (Alan) Nordyke, Tracey (Jim) Carter, and David (Irena) Boyce, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 4th, 2023 at 11 am at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Lake St. in LeRoy with a reception immediately following at the Church Social Hall. All are invited to attend either or both. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations kindly suggested to LeRoy Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 56, LeRoy NY 14482; GCC Foundation, 1 College Rd, Batavia NY 14020; and Our Lady of Mercy Parish, 44 Lake Street, LeRoy NY, 14482.

David, I am so very sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed visiting your dad´s agency in LeRoy when I worked at the Travelers Insurance Co. and he was always good to me. I´ll always remember the smile on his face the day I started calling him Uncle Bob. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
