Survived by his companion, Carolyn Wells and his late wife, Ellen M. (nee Cetera) Collopy. Loving father of Robin (Kevin) Shafer, Jeffrey (Kimberly Day) Collopy and the late David Collopy and Wendy Kubik. Father-in-law of Edmund Kubik. Cherished grandfather of Jarrett Shafer, Marissa (fiancé Collin) Shafer and Ryan Collopy. Dear brother of Cheryl (Will) Pryor and the late Adelbert Collopy. Survived by nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 911 Englewood Ave. on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m., where a Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Please share condolences at www.mertzfh.com
