Robert Kenneth Edlin

EDLIN-Robert Kenneth Of Zionsville, Indiana passed away peacefully at the Marquette Manor Nursing Home in Indianapolis on January 9, 2008. He was eighty years old. Bob was the only child of Herbert and Hulda Edlin and was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lorelei Nielsen Edlin; their daughter Karin Christine Hamilton, son-in-law Thomas Hamilton and grandchildren David and Erika Hamilton of Randolph, NJ; and their son Craig Edlin, daughter-in-law Becki Roser Edlin and grandchildren Scott, Lauren and Mark Edlin of Zionsville, IN. Bob graduated from Lafayette High School and attended the University of Buffalo. He served as sergeant in the United States Army Air Force from 1944 to 1947. He was a life long sales professional, beginning his career selling clothing in downtown Buffalo. He soon entered into a 28 year selling and sales management career with RCA Distributing Corporation. A visitation and memorial service was held at the FLANNER AND BUCHANAN FUNERAL HOME in Zionsville, Indiana on Saturday January 12, 2008. Numerous family members and friends gathered to celebrate his great life.
