Age 88, beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Hann) Miske; devoted father of Amy (David) Pangborn, Lynn Miske and the late David Miske; caring father-in-law of Catherine Miske; loving grandfather of Matthew Pangborn, Robert Pangborn, Allison Pangborn, Andrew Miske, Madelyn Miske; dear brother of the late Fred Myszewski, Richard Myszewski and Florence Krygier; also survived by nieces and nephews. Bob attended Canisius College and graduated from the University of Buffalo. He worked for Travelers Insurance and was a Major League Baseball Scout for the LA Dodgers, Seattle Mariners and the NY Yankees. Bob was inducted to UB Hall of Fame, WNY Baseball Hall of Fame, Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame, Buffalo Bisons Hall of Fame, several other baseball halls of fame and was a life member of the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame. He also was a life member of IAABO and a basketball official for 50 years. The family will receive friends on Friday, Oct. 18th, 10:00 AM-1:00 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Drive (corner of Hopkins Rd.) where a funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the WNY Baseball Hall of Fame or a charity of ones choice. Share condolences at www.AMIGONE.com.

Our deepest sympathy for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Miske family during this difficult time. Bob was one of the kindest people i have ever known. He helped us all to be better officials and to be better people. His spirit will remain with us always. Thank you for sharing him with us.
