Dear Fr. Roman BISHOP RYAN HIGH SCHOOL Buffalo New York . I was not fortunate enough to have you as a teacher at Bishop Ryan. My condolences to your family. I know it has been many years since you passing.
Please rest in peace. I only found out about this now 1-2-2021.

Fr. Roman was at Bishop Ryan HS when my father coached basketball for the Rams. I remember him as a kind servant of the Lord. May he rest in peace.

Father Roman was a teacher and confessor to a generation of students at Bishop Ryan High School in Buffalo, NY. However, he also displayed great talent as a director of musical theater! Under his able and diligent directorship, the Bishop Ryan Drama Club staged successful musicals during the 1960's and 1970's, Broadway hits like Mr. President, My Fair Lady, Camelot, South Pacific, and Oklahoma! Some of his young thespians later went on to careers in stage, most notably Lynn Kurdziel Formato, a renowned choreographer and professor at Elon University in NC. May he rest in peace, and his guidance and leadership will live on in many of his former students!

Remembering the days of my youth when Fr. Roman directed the Bishop Ryan H.S. Drama Club, Kaisertown, NY. I pray that God will still keep him busy looking over all teenagers.
