To the Gawronski family,
I used to cut Roman's hair, right up until the time I moved away in 1995. He was such a kind man and I had a lot of admiration for him. My thoughts & prayers are with you all at this time.

Dear Children of Roman and Alfreda,
My sincere sympathy on the passing of your dad. He was one of the nicest men I have ever met. He was such a gentleman. Your mom was a lovely lady as well. They were in seniors at Barnabas with my mom and dad. They are all together now and probably starting a group. My prayers are with you all.

Dear Steven, Linda and Karen,
We were deeply saddened to learn of the death of your father. My memories of him date to early childhood when we lived on Mills Street in Buffalo. I remember being in awe of him having been a Marine. The bronze lighter that used to belong to his father and which he gave me as a keepsake is a possession that I have prized for well over a half-century. I used to marvel at his pencil sketches of deer and other critters and his appetite for spaghetti and milk. (He jokingly assured me that his taste evolved toward a heartier libation later in life.) One of the last times I saw him was at my mother's funeral. Wheelchair-bound at the time, he helped me traverse the stairs at the chapel.
Uncle Roman was a kind and generous man and we join you, family and friends in mourning his passing and keeping him alive in our memories filled with all the beautiful and loving moments that he gave us.

Dear Karen, Linda and Steve,
I was deeply saddened to hear of your father's passing. I know he is in a better place and is happy to be by your mother's side again. Your parents were true inspirations to me. They were a beautiful and caring couple and were an example of what marriage should be. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to know them. May all your memories give you comfort at this difficult time.
God bless you all,
Kathy Haney
