We were deeply saddened to learn of the death of your father. My memories of him date to early childhood when we lived on Mills Street in Buffalo. I remember being in awe of him having been a Marine. The bronze lighter that used to belong to his father and which he gave me as a keepsake is a possession that I have prized for well over a half-century.
