Of Alden, NY passed away August 2, 2024. Beloved husband of Patricia Barnhard; dear father of Linda (Ken) Sheedy, Janet (Donald) Stoeckl and Sharon (Tim) Felkowski; loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; pre-deceased by two brothers and one sister. No prior visitation. Private services will be held. Ron was a former Assistant Chief for the Ellicott Creek Volunteer Fire Company, and also served in the US Army from 1958-60. Very sorry to hear the sad news of Ron's passing. I had the privilege to work with Ron at UB. He was such a kind soft-spoken man. Regardless of the project you could always count on Ron to get the job completed. Always timely and thorough he made our jobs easier. Rest easy my friend. Thoughts and prayers to family and friends.

Mrs. Barnhard, Linda, Janet, Sharon and families - I am thinking of all of you! I’m sure you are all sharing memories together! I think of your family every now and then growing up in the Creekside neighborhood. Going to school with Janet. It was a great time. My husband and now live in my homestead and my sister Kathy lives right next door. Hope you are doing ok and leaning on each other!
I noticed your Dad was once an Assistant Chief at Ellicott Creek Fire Company. Our son is now in that same position. I will let him know about your Husband and Dad.
