Of West Seneca, NY. Cherished son of the late Walter and Bernice (nee Domin) Chapin; dearest friend of Elaine Bonare; loving human companion of Artie, Star, and two other beautiful German Shepherds; also survived by many cousins and friends. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 13, at 10:00 am, at Our Lady Help of Christians RC Church, 4125 Union Road, Cheektowaga. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Ron may be made to the ECMC Foundation or the Buffalo City Mission. Online condolences may be made at www.howefuneralhome.com

Our farewell to Ron Chapin: We are deeply saddened that you left us so suddenly. We could never have enough time to thank you again and let you know how much you meant to our family. It's not often that one has the privilege to embrace a friend of your integrity , someone with loyalty, selflessness, faith, sensitivity, respect , compassion wrapped in humility. Yes, Ron that was you, always there to step up and help someone. You touched many lives with your kind and generous heart.
Our holidays, birthdays, Sunday dinners will not be the same...another open chair. After 30+ years of friendship, your presence will be deeply missed. Now, it is time to return to your loved ones who patiently await your return "home". Rest in the Arms of Jesus dear friend. Thank you for leaving us with so many wonderful memories to treasure. Ron worked with us at the CID Group for many years. There are so many fond memories of our times together. We all have special fun happenings while with Ron that we will always remember.He will be missed. May you rest in peace, dear friend.
