I was a long time patient of Dr. Jarvis. Felt so very lucky to have found him. Not only was he always pleasant and compassionate towards me, but I found him to be extremely capable and accomplished yet humble and quietly confident. He and his staff made that office on Sweet Home Rd. into the special place that it was. Every visit felt more like visiting my uncle's house than it did a dental visit. May you rest in peace, kind sir.

I was deeply saddened today, 2 August 2023, to learn from the UB Dentist magazine , of Dr. Jarvis' death. Dr. Jarvis was a teacher, mentor, and associate of mine starting in my Dental school years, continuing through attending his continuing education courses, and especially through the 10 years I spent in his private office as his associate. He was one of, if not the first, bona fide Prosthodontics Program graduates to be associated to the UB School of Dentistry. He was undoubtedly one of the most talented prosthodontists of his, and all later generations, always having the innate ability to effortlessly solve difficult dental restorative problems. I could go on forever about Dr. Jarvis, but suffice it to say he was a great loss to our profession and specialty, and he will be missed by me, and I send my sincere condolences to his Wife Judy and his family.

I am so sorry to have read about the passing of my Dentist! He was not only a compassionate Dentist, he was my Hero in Dentistry!! I have been to dentists in my life time , but no one ever made me feel so comfortable in a dental chair! I even gave him a super man shirt because of who he was! Dr. Jarvis, rest in peace and there will never be another Dentist like you! Such an amazing man!

We are so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. We have not seen him in many years as we moved away from the Buffalo area but will always remember him for his kindness, his generosity, his willingness to always help when needed and his enormous contribution to Dentistry and the Dental profession. He was always the consummate gentleman. Our sympathies to Judy and their family. May he rest in peace.
