Ronald Kingsland Obituary

of Blasdell, NY passed away peacefully on January 25, 2024 with his wife and children by his side at the age of 77, after a long battle with Parkinson's. Ronald, son of Harold and Gladys Kingsland of Blasdell, NY graduated from Frontier Central HS in 1964, then joined the US Air Force and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. In 1968, he began his career with the NYSDOT and bartender at Buffalo Raceway and Bills Stadium, until he retired in 2009. Ronald is survived by his wife Karen of 53 years, three children: Kelly (Clay) Rankin, Kim (Jeremy) Osborne and Ryan (Jane) Kingsland, six grandchildren: Sydney Rankin, Peyton and Parker Osborne, Aubrey, Riley, and Tyler Kingsland, sisters: Cheryl (David) Blaufuss and Bonnie Sutter, brother-in-law James Pietrocarlo along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Carol (Ron) Cramer, Patricia (Tony) Marchionda, Nancy Pietrocarlo, and nephew Donald Robinson. Ron will be remembered for loving his family, working hard, always helping people, loving his sweets, and making the best French Toast ever!! To honor Ron's memory, we are holding a Celebration of Life memorial service on April 6th, 2024 at First Lutheran Church, 66 Arthur Avenue, Blasdell, NY at 10:30am. We invite everyone to share a story or memory as we commemorate his life together. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Disabled American Veterans https://www.dav.org

Remembering Ronnie so very much at FCHS. I was a grade behind him but I really had a crush on him. I liked him so much, but I don't think that he was aware of that!. Many condolences to his family.......so many memories.

Sending my sincere condolences to Karen and family. I was a classmate of Ron at FCHS class of 1964 and I also grew up in Blasdell, NY. Ron was always so kind and thoughtful.
