Of Buffalo, New York passed away on Wednesday, January 8th, 2025. She was 92 years old. The daughter of the late Fiore and Domenica (Devillis) Valeri, she was born in Strangolgalli, Frosinone, Italy, raised in Scranton, PA, and resided in Buffalo, NY with her husband the late Francis W. Kashuba since 1953. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Judith Kashuba Deinhardt of Wood Ridge, NJ, Joyce Hall of Wheatfield, NY and Suzanne Kashuba of Amherst, NY, and by her brothers Armand Valeri of Flemington, NJ and Albert Valeri, of New Brunswick, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica R. (Zachary) Jenkins and David W. (Katelyn) Hall, her great-grandchildren Andrew John and Madison Joy Jenkins and Colton John and Jacob Conrad Hall and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Rose is pre-deceased by her sister, Lena Pettinato, her brother Gino Valeri and her son-in-law John Hall. Please join us in remembering Rose on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Amherst, NY 14226 (near Eggert/Sheridan Dr.), from 5-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph University Parish, 3269 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14214. Please assemble at church. Committal services for immediate family members only to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Kenmore, New York where Rose will be laid to rest with her husband Francis. She was a long time member of the former All Saints Parrish and the Riverside/Northwest Buffalo Senior Center. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rose's memory may be made to Northwest Buffalo Community Center Seniors, 155 Lawn Ave, Buffalo, NY 14207. Condolences online at www.lombardofuneralhome.com.
