To Sam's family,
Our deepest sympathy to you and your families on the loss of Sam. Marie Cultrara Krentz was my grandmother and sister to Angelo Cultrara, your grandfather and father to your mother Antoinette. We called your Mom "Nani" back then. For years, we all lived on the same street in Buffalo.
Sometimes I would ride the bus with my Aunt Marilyn to go see your Mom to say hello when she was working at the Catholic Store in Buffalo.
My grandmother Marie lived on the corner with my Aunts Sally & Marilyn.
My sister Donna was the flower girl for your Mom & Dad's wedding.
In my memory, I can still see your parents smiling & can still hear them laughing.
My cousin, Don Seysock, lived with your family for a while when your parents had a house in North Buffalo. I remember when he bought a dresser for the room that he was staying in at your house in the 1960s before he was drafted into the U.S. Army & deployed to Vietnam. I still have that dresser.
The last time I spoke with Sam was at Uncle Nick Acanfora's funeral breakfast. We had a good visit &
it was nice to see him that day. He mentioned that he had been living in Florida to the best of my recollection.
Our condolences to all of you,
The family of Donald J. Krentz
