Sara Rose

February 11, 1980 - May 14, 2025

Of Tonawanda, NY, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on May 14 due to complications from stage 4 colon cancer. The daughter of Karen (nee Clark) Clarke and the late Robert Clarke, Sara is survived by her beloved husband, David Hill; brother, Robert (Laura) Clarke; sister, Karey Clarke; sister-in-law, Carissa (partner Justin Stanton) Hill; brothers-in-law, Nathaniel Hill and Jason Hill; nephew, Noah Clarke; nieces, Sienna Clarke, Bianca and Maeve Hill; parents-in-law, John and Lynne Hill; many dear friends in Buffalo and Orlando; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins across the country. Sara's family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone at Roswell Park who tried so hard to rid her of this awful disease, especially the clinical trials team and Dr. Vadehra. A celebration of life will be held in Buffalo on July 26. Donations may be made in Sara's memory to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation or Ten Lives Club. Sara loved cats.

Karen, I am so sorry. To you, and all the rest of Sara's family and friends, I have trouble finding the words that truly address such a loss. But please know that you and Sara are all on my mind, and in my prayers.
