Of Town of Tonawanda, NY, born in Kane, PA. Beloved wife of 66 years to the late Charles S. Adelsberger; Dear mother of Thomas (Teresa), Robert (Cindy), William (Barbara) and John Adelsberger; Loving grandmother of Krista, Sandra, Laura, Kathleen and Karen; Also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; Friends may call Wednesday, September 4, 4 to 8 p.m., at the Lester H. Wedekindt, Inc. Funeral Home, 3290 Delaware Ave. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, September 5 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Amelia's Church, 2999 Eggert Rd., Tonawanda, NY 14150. Interment will be held at St. Callistus Cemetery Kane, PA. Sarah worked as a registered nurse at the Buffalo VA Medical Center for 27 years. I'm sad I didn't get to meet Sarah in person, but I feel like I got to know her well through my friend Bill, her son! Bill, thanks for all the memories you shared of your Mom and God Bless you and your family during this difficult time! Sarah sounded like a beautiful person who was loved by so many!! God Bless You Sarah!!

I didn't know her for long, I met her as my son's neighbor. She was always very pleasant and sweet. My son would always talk about what a nice lady she is. Sorry to hear that she passed away. We will miss her.
