Scott Farrell Obituary

Farrell, Scott J.

May 27, 1958 - March 4, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Scott Jeffrey Farrell. Scott was a beloved friend, life partner and brother, whose presence will be deeply missed. Born May 27, 1958, in Buffalo NY, graduated Eden Central High School. Scott spent most of his later years in Seattle, Washington. He graduated with a bachelors and masters degrees from Michigan State University and served as President of Theta Chi Fraternity. Scott was an accomplished business man serving as CEO to several successful companies. Scott found solace and exhilaration in the skies. A skilled pilot, he delighted in flying his aircraft for business and pleasure. He generously donated his time and aircraft to transporting rescue dogs across the country. Scott was the beloved son of John and Laura Farrell, and the cherished brother of Jacqueline Farrell Carty and Mark Farrell. He shared a profound bond with his longtime life partner, Ms. Toni Munizza, and was embraced as family by her loved ones. A Celebration of Life event to honor Scott's memory will be scheduled in the near future. In lieu of flowers, donations in Scott's name to FredomBoundHounds.com would be deeply appreciated, continuing his legacy of compassion and service.

Toni, Mark and family,

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Scott. Although our paths diverged after high school, reconnecting with Scott and Toni a couple of summers ago was like time had stood still and the conversations flowed. And last year with just 4 hours notice, Scott was able to fit in a lunch together while I was waiting on my son to arrive in Seattle. It was a pleasure to have a man as busy as he was to take the time to meet with a friend from almost 50 years ago. We shared some old stories, and some unforgettable moments of the past. He did share how he was looking forward to heading east for Mark´s sons college graduation. My heart goes out to your entire family during this difficult time. May you find solace in the cherished memories and the love that surrounds all of you.

With heartfelt sympathy,
Angelo Miranda
