Stephen BLIGH Obituary
February 5, 2021. Predeceased by his parents, Bernice and John Bligh. He is survived by his wife Sandy (Carafice) Bligh; sons, Stephen J. Bligh & Peter (Jennifer) Bligh; siblings, John (Pat) Bligh, Douglas (Linda) Bligh, Gretchen D'Andrea & Sally Jagiello; brothers-in-law, Richard (Mary Kay) Carafice, Ronald (Elaine) Carafice and Peter (Beth) Carafice; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. For more information about Stephen please visit www.bartolomeo.com. PER NYS REGULATIONS ALL ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS AND SANITIZE AT THE FUNERAL HOME, CHURCH & CEMETERY. Stephen's life story will be shared during his visitation, Thursday, February 11th, 6-9 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane, (Between 390 and Long Pond Rd.). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Friday, February 12th, 11AM at St. Mark's Church, 54 Kuhn Rd., followed by his burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to, Veteran's Outreach Center, 429 South Ave., Rochester, NY 14620 or to Parkinson's Foundation, Greater Rochester Chapter, 1000 Elmwood Ave., Suite 1600, Rochester, NY 14620 in Stephen's memory.

We got aquatinted in VN in 1970. We were both Medics. He sent me his CD and I will review it again in remembrance of Stephen. I my sincere condolences to Sandy. I wished I had known sooner because is very late.

I was a classmate of Steve's at Bishop Turner High - Buffalo. 1967 Industrial Arts Graduating Class (& track team teammates). I recall Steve being an all around good guy, quiet and mature beyond his years at the time. May God Bless Steve & His Family!

I am so very saddened of the the passing of my buddy from the Sears days in the late 60’s and early 70’s. Steve was a gentleman with a lot of class. We lost contact with each other over the years, but I have such nice memories of the Sears crowd and my friend Steve. My buddy, may you Rest In Peace. My condolence to the Bligh family. I am so sorry for your loss.
