I was a student of hers, in first grade, and remember, even at such a young age, the wonderful teacher she was. She was very attentive to every student, and really syood out in her profession. She has been in my thoughts since 1st grade, and always will be. Peace be with her.

Kind, honorable, generous, sincere, thoughtful, gentle, loving, with a wry wit and keen sense of humor. All things we aspire to, but which came effortlessly to Susie. She always gave our kids toys, along with books, at Christmas time. (I guess the teacher in her couldn't resist.) Robin, your mom was the rarest of gems who will never be forgotten, and we will love and miss her always. Linda

Love you Sue. You were always a special person inside and outside the classroom. Teaching with you all those years at Abate you always had a kind word to say about all your students. They meant so much to you. As much as you were loved as a teacher you were as much loved as a person. I think of you often and will miss you dearly. Robin was fortunate to have you as a mother. God Bless You.

Peter & Robin, I am so sorry for your loss. I loved Sue, she was so much fun and easy to get to know. She had a beautifully open heart and was never shy about sharing her love for her family or for laughing out loud. She was a truly special person for Doug to have in his life. I am certain that she will continue to offer her presence in a myriad of ways to you and her grandson. Peace and blessings you and all of your family. Mia Garcia-Hills

I remember her as 'Ms Seal,' one of my two favorite teachers. I had her as a forth grade teacher at Beech Avenue school (now Kalfas Elementary), and she was the absolute greatest! She cared wheter her student learned, and kept trying until they did!During that time, her pride and joy was her beautiful little daughter, Robin, whom she brought to class on special events.
She will be sadly missed, and I am saddened beyond belief. God bless Robin and the rest of the family.
