Suzanne Collard Obituary

Collard, Suzanne M.

Dec 30, 1964 - Sep 5, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Suzanne (Sue) Marie Collard of Sarasota, FL. Sue is survived by the center of her world, her son Max Blackledge of Sarasota and Auburn, AL, her mother, Gracka Gruis of Bradenton, her step-mother Ellen Collard of Sarasota, and her rock, her brother, Chuck Collard (Carole Ann) of Williamsville and nephews Matthew and Joshua, along with additional family members, friends, and supporters during this journey. Sue was predeceased by her husband, Tim Blackledge, her father, Bill Collard, and her niece Carly Collard. Sue faced pancreatic cancer with extraordinary courage. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to further Max's college education at Auburn University through the Suzanne Collard page on gofundme.com. His education was her highest priority. Arrangements have been made through Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Sarasota, FL.

Yesterday

Dear Chuck and Carol: I just read of Suzanne`s passing. I know this is a painful time, but it also is a time of peace knowing she is out of her pain. You were the best brother any sister could want. Sibling bonds will never be broken every day when you think of her she is with you! Just know that I am thinking of you and your family and hope that the memories bring you comfort.
