June 9, 2023 of West Seneca, NY. Beloved wife of 67 years to Dominic Abruzzino. Loving mother of Liz (Don) Kusz and David (Linda) Abruzzino. Cherished grandmother of Michelle, Jody, Jason, Nicole, Rachel, Stephanie and Josh and great-grandmother of Monique, Simone, Finnegan, Shamus and Kinley. Pre-deceased by 2 sisters and 1 brother. Also survived by nieces and nephews. The family will be present on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the HOY FUNERAL HOME 3855 Seneca St., West Seneca NY where prayers will be said on Friday at 930AM and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John XXIII Parish at 10AM. Sylvia will be greatly missed at bingo on Thursdays at 14 Holy Helpers.When she used to sell the specials, my friend and I would always get them from her and chit chat a bit. We would get a hug when we had exact change. So sorry for your loss. She is missed.

I was worried about her when I hadn't seen her at Mass for a while. I guess my concerns were valid--unfortunately. God rest her soul. She was always so kind to me.
