Sylvia YOUNG Obituary
July 27, 2022, age 87. Beloved wife of the late William G. Young and loving companion of Charles "Chuck" Sciandra; devoted mother of Sharon (Daniel) Sley, David (Joanne) Young, and Bryan (Irene) Young; adored grandmother of William Young, Katheryn (Thomas) Lewis, Rebecca Coccia, Savannah, Joseph (Erika), Sydney, Charlotte, and Truett Young and Jeffrey, Emily, and Zachary Sley; cherished great-grandmother of Lily, Thomas, and Bryan. Sylvia was very involved in her church where she served as a Eucharistic minister for many years. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Seneca Manor Health Care Facility where she shared her talent and love of crafting. Sylvia embraced her passions for dancing, golfing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Sylvia's caregivers for the past two years. Funeral Services will be held privately. If so desired, memorials may be made in her memory to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227. Arrangements by (Elma Chapel) Urban-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME.
