I met Valentin through mutual friends in Manhattan, NYC. We dated for several
months. We both possessed artistic temperaments that dove-tailed. Gallant,.
socially savvy in any situation. High intelligent , not pedantic. Refreshing. V. could switch from acerbic to sweet depending on which issue was being talked about. Valentin, was a man of his word, who owned himself and a piercing sense of humor that elicited gales of laughter to his listeners. We lost contact when we both moved out of NYC. Valentin has often been on the back roads of my mind. He will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart.
"Tatraaansky" is how my friend ALWAYS answered his phone. I will miss hi s Kindnesses, urbanism, and creative, quick mind. He was as fine as the Fine Arts
that he practiced and loved.
