(nee Duca)
Of Dayton, OH and formerly of Buffalo, NY, entered peacefully into rest on September 27, 2022 in Dayton, OH. Beloved wife of the late Vincent Rizzo; devoted mother of Anne (Mike) Fantini, Cassie (Tim) Barlow and Vincent (Bonnie) Rizzo; cherished grandmother of Elizabeth, Michael and Anneliese Fantini, Emma Barlow, and Lydia, Monica and Gina Rizzo; loving daughter of the late Charles and Beatrice Duca; dear sister of Juanita Eleey; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit St. Mary's Church, 6919 Transit Rd., Swormville, NY 14051 on Saturday (October 29, 2022) from 10:30-11:30 AM, where a Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:30 AM. Lunch reception to follow. Interment Wheatfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's of Swormville to a scholarship in Whilma Rizzo's name to help pay tuition for students in need, https://www.stmaryswormville.org. You were my gym teacher from 1951-1955 at pine Hill school. You taught me how to be strong and athletic which I treasure to this day. I am 85 years and still play golf thanks to you. I have never forgotten you .
