Age 84. Son of the late Louis and Elizabeth Filsinger, brother of the late Betty Jo David, passed on October 7th. William leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Ann (Napierski), and his son William Jr. (Lindsay Heckler). William will be missed by countless members of his extended family and friends, especially by the Napierski and Kaelin families. William was a former member of the National Guard, a scout leader and avid member of the New York Walleye Association. William was an active outdoorsman, spending much of his time on the lake fishing or at his property in the country enjoying the outdoors with his son and his brother-in-law and best friend Hank Napierski. William was a car enthusiast and top notch mechanic, when not working on cars he enjoyed traveling to attend many NASCAR and NHRA races with his son. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife, Mary Ann, who over 56 years shared countless memories and adventures.
