Of Hamburg, NY. Beloved husband of 58 years to Christine (nee VanderMeer) Kirkland; loving father of William J.P. Kirkland; son of the late William and Esther (nee Wright) Kirkland; brother of the late Bonnie Walsh-Kirkland; son-in-law of the late Peter and Lenore VanderMeer; brother-in-law of Michael (Jan) and Peter (Patricia) VanderMeer; also survived by nieces; nephews; relatives; and friends. The family will be present on Monday from 4-7PM at the (Hamburg Chapel) JOHN J. KACZOR FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5453 Southwestern Blvd. (Corner of Rogers Rd), where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11AM. Interment St. Aloysius Cemetery in Springville, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Fresh Water Friends, P.O. Box 1025 Ballston Lake, NY 12019.
