William Knoche Obituary

Knoche,

William C.

Apr 13, 1942 - Apr 11, 2025

Age 82, passed away following a brief illness. A dedicated sales coach, Bill was passionate about teaching people the importance of listening, which positively impacted their sales results and relationships. He is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Foster and Skylar; his sons, Sean and Steve; his brother, John; his nephews Rob, Russell, and Ryan, whom he considered a son; his dedicated right hand, Vera Hufford; and his niece Jill, who provided unwavering love and support, coordinating his care and ensuring his final days were filled with comfort and dignity. Bill's ability to find joy in every moment shone through even in his final days. He expressed gratitude and happiness to the Roswell Park staff, leaving a lasting impression with his perspective. He and his family were deeply grateful for the compassionate care provided by both the team on 7W at Roswell and the hospice staff. Bill's life will be celebrated this summer at his nephew Russell's home, where he enjoyed many cherished family dinners. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, Buffalo.

I just found out. I'm so saddened to hear. I have such fond loving memories of Bill. We met inside of Landmark but became fast friends. We haven't talked in a few years, but I (friend) loved him. Sad to know he's not on Earth. My condolences to his family and others who knew him. He will be missed.

Bill was my Mentor. He was actually my car salesman and that is where I met him. We had many good times together. He will be missed by everyone. Rest in Peace Bill.

Bill Knoche was in my classes starting in elementary school and going through Hamburg's educational program until I graduated. He was a partner with me as a manager of our Hamburg High School class monthly phone calls for the last several years, and he pulled out of the calls before he passed away. He was a wonderful friend to us all.

Rest in peace, Bill. As someone who worked with him and was humbled to have his ear as a friend on many occasions for both professional and personal advice, I admired Bill and always appreciated his wit and great sense of humor which will be truly missed.

I met Bill when he was doing sales consulting. He always had his smile on. We talked about his family´s car business, and about my growing business. I would run into him at a cafe or restaurant over the years and we would chat and catch up. Rest in Peace my friend.

Bill was my sales trainer, a great friend and a father figure. He always believed in me and I would not be the sales person I am today without him. He will truly be missed and his family have my deepest sympathy.

To the family of Bill Knoche:
My late wife Sandy and I had fond memories of partying with Bill & Barb. We lived on 12 Brookwood Drive (1st house from Pleasant Ave on Brookwood). Barb´s early passing was a shock to all who knew Barb &Bill. Bill was so likeable it is no wonder he was a great sales person. My condolences to all of Bill´s family including John, my HHS classmate, and current friends.

I can't believe I'm seeing this. We spoke not long ago. Bill has been one of my mutual confidante for over 20 years since we met in TMPL. I can't believe he won't answer his phone. I'm really going to miss you Bill.

Bill and I shared many cold "cold calls" during our Mass Mutual Life days - 50 years ago! We managed to stay in touch and always picked up where we left it, laughing about the same dumb stories - especially the one about the parking meter in the trunk of his Buick. Bill was a special friend. I already miss him.

With loving memories, I remember Bill as a caring, thoughtful, supportive and sincere friend. We were in the class of `63 and then went on to Alfred together (years later able to laugh about "that" end of semester exam we took). We reconnected at our many class reunion committee meetings and there were many. He always brought positive thoughts and genuine concern for inclusion of all. When I faced health challenges Bill would often just pick up the phone to check in. He understood how to engage people. I will miss him dearly and send my deepest condolences to his family.

For Bill's family and friends,
We have known Bill since our early days of high school. Hamburg High School and the Class of !963 was a special place. It was a wonderful experience when we were young and continued to be throughout our lives because of the contributions and presence of individuals like Bill. Bill remained a member of the reunion committee throughout his life, His warm, humble, sincere, and generous personality was always present whenever we met. He had a playful personality and his smile could fill up any room. Both of us would get together with Bill for wonderful conversations, food, and drink periodically between reunions. It was always fun. We were so sad when we learned of his passing. However, seeing his picture in the newspaper will be forever etched in our minds. Our hope that everybody who views that image will forever remember that wonderful example of the good side of humanity! Elana Mark and Warren Crouse
