MEST - William G. Of Strykersville, NY, January 28, 2012, beloved husband of Mary "Betty' (Noecker) Mest; dear father of Ann (Deane) Foster, Joan (James) Gasiewicz, Ruth (Lawrence) Zehler, William J., John (Mary Ellen), Joseph (Billie), Francis (Linda), Matthew (Mary), James (Crista) and the late Michael Mest; grandfather of 31 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren; brother of Anna Barvian, Leona Meyer and the late Helen Becker, John, Marion Perl and George Mest; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Family will be present at St. John Neumann Parish, St. Cecelia's Site Sheldon, NY, Tuesday 10 AM to 12 Noon, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 PM. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Victory Home of Charity or St. John Neumann Church. Mr. Mest was the founder and former owner of WG Mest Meat Packing Company and was one of the founding members of the Harris Corners Fire Dept. Arrangements by the CHARLES MEYER FUNERAL HOME. Dear Aunt Betty and Family;
