I would like to make a donation in memory of Bill Murnighan, but the death notice gives no indication of where an acknowledgment can be sent. Bill represented me briefly during the late sixties when I was trying to escape an unfortunate marriage. Matter was complicated, husband moved across the country. Bill was kind enough to track down a class mate in LA who could handle the matter. This account sounds so ordinary, but Bill's professionalism, integrity and helpfulness made a difference in the direction my life took. Otherwise, is is doubtful that I would have remembered his name after so many decades. Why make a donation after such a brief business encounter? He never billed me, saying that I needed my limited resources to care for my children. It's time to pay up!
