I was shocked to see Bill's death notice. Bill worked for us years ago and left to pursue his career in law enforcement. He was an excellent employee, and we are all saddened by his untimely passing. Deepest Condolences.

It was an honor to have Billy as a friend, he was such a great person and a great cop. Billy always told the most hilarious stories for everyone, what a great sense of humor. I always asked him to tell the same one "Stroh's snowblower", I still laugh out loud thinking about the way he told it. Billy was a genuine and wonderful human being that will be missed by all. God bless.

Dear Kathy, and Family, I am a good friend of Nancy, Joey, Janet, and Kathy,(Marge Wuendsch) I met Billy when he bartended at the Billy club. He was the most wonderful personable person you would ever want to meet. Things took full circle when my son Michael, and Tommy Rieman became best friends in grammar school at St John's. Michael died four years ago, and I know in my heart all our family are oce again in a most beautiful place waiting for us. Billy has been on my prayer list from the time I fisrt heard of his illness. My prayer is now that they can once again be with all our loved ones in an eternal peace, which only God can grant us. All my love and prayers to you and your family, Marge(Wuendsch) Hamm

Billy Rieman in high school was more fun than anyone I know. His smile was infectious, and he has such a sense of humor. There are so many memories proms, caz park, woodside, timon dances, Wow we truly had a great group of friends. The Classes of 1985 from BTHS & MMA lost a good friend and man, Rest in Peace Billy & May the Lord welcome you into heaven! You will be missed!!!

My heart breaks for you all, it has been a long road. Billy had fought probably his toughest fight, and you his loving family, especially Colleen have been there to help him fight. Have comfort in knowing Nance was there at Heavens gate to embrace him "home." He is in great company now, in Heaven.

One of the last times I saw Billy was a couple years ago. I was standing downtown with my girlfriend [now my wife] in pouring rain trying to hail a cab. Billy pulled up with his partner and insisted on giving me a ride rather than wait for the cab in the rain. Billy was a great guy, always smiling and will be missed by many.

Our hearts are heavy for you as you go through this most difficult time. We are going to miss our volleyball sideline buddy, Bill. We enjoyed sitting and discussing the game and his children with him.
When Joe lost his dad we found this one particular piece of prose extremely comforting. It also helped me get through the loss of my own father. We have shared it though the years & it seems to always bring comfort to the family...We pray it comforts you too.

Billy was the walking definition of devotion, dignity and selflessness. I am so proud to have him as a friend and know that his faith will take him where he needs to go.
