Bill was my uncle and a deep influence in my life.

I remember Bill as a handsome young man. I remember seeing Bill at St. Margaret's Church every Sunday. In our later years I saw him once a month at the Buffalo Deaf Citizens Club. I remember him as a friend and a very nice man. I am saddened to hear of his death but I am sure he is happy with God in Heaven. May he rest in peace.

Uncle Bill was an exceptional uncle. He always had chocolates and donuts every morning after mass to share with the relatives or friends that he visited. His love for God each and every day left an indelible imprint and example that I will never forget and always cherish.

The entire Ganey family is saddened to hear of "Uncle Bill's" death. While not a real uncle, Uncle Bill was a dear friend of our father's, George Ganey. I think they first met when Bill was a camp counselor. We have many, many memories of Bill at our house over the holidays. He would tell us of his travels and his work days. He will always be remembered by all of us. Peace.

I am so sadden over the death of my Uncle Bill - the last of the Schwartz kids. My memories of him include his visits with us all over the world. He had such a sustaining faith that I always envied. I know that God has his trusted servant with him now!

Bill, a man of deep faith and human kindness, loved his friends and family. He loved trains, toy trains, churches, good German beer (but not too much) and eating out at Wegmans. As a younger man, he traveled extensively in Europe and North America.

Dear Family of our special "Uncle Bill",
Uncle Bill worked with our father at the Greater Buffalo Press. After our father was killed in an accident at work over 60 years ago, our Uncle Bill came every Christmas to visit us and give us a Christmas gift. He was our special Santa Claus! Even after he no longer could drive, he sent us a gift! We always enjoyed visiting his house to see his miniature trains. He was so proud of them and they gave him great joy. We treasure our time with Uncle Bill and will remember him always in our thoughts and prayers.
