Ray Evan Williams,82, Born November 10, 1941, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024, at home after a long illness. 
Ray went to school in Tunas, MO, and lived many years in Urbana, MO. He served in the Navy and earned his black belt in Karate while serving in Japan. 
Ray earned a PhD in Philosophy. He had a diverse career working as a fireman, teacher, and plumber. He was an avid reader and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. 
He is preceded in death by parents Ray Elbert and Bobbi Davis Williams, and Grandson Isaac Hughes. 
He is survived by his wife, Elida Williams, Sister Diane Southworth, and family. His son, Ray Williams, wife, Beverly Williams. Grandchildren: Raydiance Williams, Ben Hughes, Great Grandchildren Sage and Levi Hughes. Great Great Granddaughter Aiyanna Rae Waddell. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 3:00 pm at ICCO church, 3935 W Sunshine Springfield, MO, 65807
