Aaron Fratzke Obituary
A visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Reiff Family Center – Funeral Home & Crematory in Independence. A funeral service followed at 11 a.m. Burial took place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery following the service.
Les was born on August 23, 1949, in Independence, the son of Aaron J. and Eleanor Gertrude (Johnson) Fratzke. He graduated from Independence, in 1967 and soon after began his career at Wapsie Valley Creamery in Independence, where he worked diligently for 33 years before retiring in 2004.
On February 20, 1971, Les was united in marriage to Carol Coonrad at St. John's Catholic Church in Independence.
Les is survived by his sons: Leland (Milissa) Fratzke, and Jamie Fratzke; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vicki (Darrell) Peterson, and Joanne Fratzke; two brothers, Gary and Doug Fratzke; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 52 years, Carol; his brother and sister-in-law, Dennis (Sandra) Fratzke; his sister, Deborah; and brother, Kelly Fratzke.
