Christian Fleming

Chris joins Tim (55-85) and Carey (57-80) in everlasting serenity. Along with the greater Fleming family, where we know they will be enjoying each other's company. Chris had an incredible heart, he was easy to like, easy to love. He was known for his enthusiasm in everything he did. Chris loved everything outdoors, fishing, camping, hiking, grilling, walking. And fires, he loved fires. Particularly those he started. The more danger involved the greater his interest. Fireworks, snowboarding, water crafts of any type. Boating in the middle of Lake Michigan where he ran out of gas. Diving into freezing water to grab a fishing pole he had lost his grip on. Letting Patty pilot a boat with no prior experience, while those ashore watched in terror. Chris was a dog's best friend. Every dog! Chris was everyone's best friend, both human and animal. He helped anyone in need, no matter the cost to himself. Chris had the laugh of the innocent, the ability to see the humor in everything, most often himself. He was a man with endless ability and all heart. A teacher to many. Taught Timmy to fish with balloons, relatives to ski, others his many crafts.. Chris had the smile of a winner, the heart of the pure, the perseverance of the hard worker and the love of many. In the end you didn't conquer death Chris, but neither did death conquer you. Death heals all diseases, your broken heart, worn out spirit. Breaks all chains that bind. Made you free at last, at peace, loved son, brother, friend.
