Dennis George Uchytil

JESUP – Dennis George Uchytil, 55 years old of Winthrop and formerly of Jesup and Littleton died Tuesday, Sept. 17, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City of cancer. He was born Oct. 26, 1957, in Independence, the son of George William Uchytil and Rosalyn Jean (Schmidt) Uchytil. He graduated from Jesup High School with the class of 1977. He was first married to Patricia Jean Even at the First Presbyterian Church, Jesup. They later divorced. Dennis was a heavy machine operator and had worked road construction
Dennis is survived by three sons: Jason Uchytil of Jesup, Jamie (Becky) Uchytil of Gilbertville, Nick Stock of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren; longtime friend, Deb Stock of Winthrop; parents, George and Rosalyn Uchytil of Jesup; two brothers, David Uchytil and Douglas Uchytil both of Jesup at Littleton.
Memorial Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, with Rev. Scott Boone officiating. Family will great friends at the service. Burial will be at a later date.
