Eleanor Weber Obituary
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. – Thursday, June 13, at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Jesup with burial at St. Athanasius Catholic Cemetery, Jesup. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. – Wednesday, June 12, at White Funeral Home, Jesup. A parish rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Thursday at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.white-mthope.com
Eleanor was born July 15, 1930, at Dunkerton in Black Hawk County, Iowa, the daughter of Edwin Mixdorf and Alvina C. (Block) Mixdorf. On November 26, 1952, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Emil Weber in Waterloo, Iowa. She was a homemaker and farm wife. Eleanor enjoyed sporting events and other social events, including sightseeing in the mountains, during their trips with relatives and friends to Las Vegas. She was a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church in Jesup.
Eleanor is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. Weber of Jesup; two daughters, Susan (Tom) Emrich of Waterloo, Karen Weber (Carl Schoulte) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two sons, Steven Weber (Cherie Kreger) of Jesup, Mark (Doreen) Weber of Jesup; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one son Daniel J. Weber (April 14, 2010); her parents; and one sister Dorothy Eickhoff.
White Funeral Home, Jesup, is in charge of the arrangements.
