Frances Caulfield Obituary

On May 13, 2020. Loving sister of John Caulfield (Nancy), Philip Caulfield (Beth), Margaret Caulfield, Colleen Neckelmann (Robert), Andrea Caulfield (John Buhager), Maureen Freedman (Abraham) and Sheila Miller (Bryan). Also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Born on November 1, 1966 to John P. and Elizabeth Caulfield, Franny lived most of her life in Moorestown, NJ. She was the youngest of eight children, and although born with Down Syndrome, she was a happy, optimistic person who truly made the most of what she was given. Franny was a graduate of the Bancroft School, Haddonfield, and received lifelong support & services from the Burlington & Camden County Chapters of The Arc. For many years she was able to live independently and was often seen strolling along Main Street in Moorestown giving hugs and greetings to familiar shopkeepers.

Franny loved the Eagles, Phillies and Sixers. She loved her job and friends at the Burlington County OTC. And she loved and was always proud of her family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Franny's memory made to arcofburlington.org or arccamden.org would be appreciated.

Funeral services will be private and a memorial service will be held at a later time when family and friends are able to gather. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to her family from the website below.

We will always have fond memories of Franny. She was always so glad to see us wherever we met her-at a family gathering or just walking on Main Street.

Betsy and are very saddened by the news of Frannie's death. She was a delightful person. Her independence amazed us. Her success in life came about from the love, care, and guidance she got from her siblings and her late father and mother, John and Betty Caulfield.

I am so sorry to hear about Franny's passing.I was Franny's manager at Memorial Hospital who hired her and worked with her until I left in 2002. Franny was a dependable, hard working spirit who set an example of her innocence of the love of life and her dependability to her job for her co workers and friends to follow. I was always amazed and admired her independence and determination to get the job done. After I left Memorial I would on occasion run into Franny on the streets of Moorestown and she would always greet you with that friendly smile and soft spoken and warm hearted greeting. Rest In Peace Franny and May Gods Angels take you home. May comfort console find her family and friends

So sorry to hear about Franny's passing. I was Franny's boss at Memorial Hospital who hired her and worked with her until 2002. Franny's was a treasure to know and loved her spirit for life. After I left Memorial I would on occasion run into her in the town of Moorestown. She always greeted me with that special smile of hers. I always admired her independence and determination that her disabilities were not going to get in her way. Rest in Peace Franny and May Gods Angels take you home and comfort your family and friends.
