Hazel & Family I give my deepest
condolences to the family. Al worked with My Mother Anne de Vos and My Father Donland (Red) Bushey at Pine Ridge School. Al taught me a lot of things about plowing snow and lawn mowing. He always made sure everything was going smooth at Pine Ridge and making things look perfect around the grounds making sure the kids were safe and the buildings were in tip top shape. Al would give you the shirt off his back and do anything for you. I remember when he came over to the house in the middle of the night to help turn the oil boiler back on because we ran out of oil so i could stay warm that night. He always made sure that i could walk down the driveway so that i could make it to school on time and sometimes would wait with me so that i did not get cold in the morning and would also bring me plowing in his dodge pick up. He also shared his knowledge and love about Heavy Equipment and Excavation with me and he helped me figure out that digging holes was what i wanted to do the rest of my life. Al you will always be with us in out hearts and in our minds i think about you every time i see the wonderful white color that falls from the sky in the winter that you enjoyed so much .

Hello,
My name is Justin Bayles and I was a student at Pine Ridge School for three years. I send my condolences to the family for their loss.
I will never forget the year the softball team tried to make a "real" field. The team had been working on it for weeks. We were trying to make an infield, batters boxes and so on. Al, one day came down to mow the field and took one look at us and started to laugh. Later that day after Al was scheduled to go home he came down with the tractor and all the "right tools for the job" as he would say. Al worked with us until dark every day for a week so we could have a place to be proud of. He never said anything, never asked for anything. Later in season the team decided to name the field "Gover Field" as a way to thank Al for his efforts. This was the kind of person Al was and I hope he knew the lasting impacts he made on that community and it's students.

My deepest condolences to Hazel and the Family. I had the distinct pleasure of working with Al at the Pine Ridge School, as the former Athletic Director. He always made sure the students playing fields, buses and roadways were kept in top condition. He went that extra mile to even help build a ice rink. I will always remember him coming up to my house to plow my driveway to make sure the rescue squad could get there. That is just how big is heart was. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him for over 10 years.
