During my ten years with Essex Town Schools, Dave was a member of the Board of Education for most of that time. Not many people serve on a school board for more than twenty years. Dave knew a great deal "in history" and wanted positive outcomes for students, teachers, staff and the community. As director of finance, I received some good advice from Dave from time to time and I appreciated his support and friendly manor. I found the many photos placed on display at the funeral home yesterday by his family to be a memorable and loving tribute to a life well lived.

Dear Eva and family,
Just heard of the tragic loss of Dave. I remember all the good time we had going to lunch at China Light back in the good old days when Dave and I were working at Ma Bell. I have many fond memories of you and Dave and your family.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

My condolences on your loss. I last saw Dave when I had lunch with him and his crew at the Tech Center this fall. Dave was being Dave. I will miss him.
